Charlotte K Reith is an experienced, seasoned and results-oriented professional. With over 25 years of financial and project management experience, she is now providing consulting services to attorneys and businesses.  With progressive responsibilities in corporate finance and management positions, she has served as Vice President, Financial Systems; Vice President, Planning, Finance and Administration and Divisional Controller. 

Ms. Reith’s recent engagements include a fraud audit of a not-for-profit organization; investigation into a Receiver’s mishandling of the assets of the estate; tracing of retirement plan assets transferred from a brokerage account without client authorization; litigation support and business valuations in family law and estate matters, expert witness testimony in family law matters, and litigation support in commercial litigation and contract disputes.   

Prior to The Reith Company, she was Vice President, Financial Systems for Universal Pictures, a part of Universal Studios, now a unit of NBC/Universal, where she was responsible for the complete overhaul and redesign of all financial systems, controls and reporting for the film entertainment group.  She participated in the business process reengineering efforts undertaken by Seagram upon their purchase of Universal Studios.  This intensive, 2 year assignment included the reengineering methodology of benchmarking and best practice analysis for all business processes used in motion picture development, marketing and distribution.  Prior to this appointment, Ms. Reith was VP, Planning Finance and Administration where she was responsible for developing the financial plans and budgets related to the marketing of all Universal film releases, as well as supervising all business administration activities for the marketing division, including liaison with corporate reporting and internal audit. While in the marketing department, she spearheaded two major fraud investigations where the perpetrators were tried and convicted. 

Prior to her 16 years with Universal Studios, Ms. Reith was in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and other firms.

Ms. Reith is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst with her BS degree in Accounting from California State University, Hayward, graduating with high honors.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) and their Consulting Services section, a member of the Certified Fraud Examiners Association (CFE); and the California Society of CPA’s (CSCPA) and their Family Law, Litigation Support and Business Valuation sections, and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. 

In the community she is President of The Blinn House Foundation, the home of the Women City Club of Pasadena, the Past President and current member of the Board of Directors for Women at Work, a non-profit career and job resource center serving the greater Los Angeles area.  She was the treasurer of the Women’s City Club of Pasadena and was instrumental in pulling the Club from the brink of bankruptcy.  Prior to her 11 years of involvement with Women at Work, she was on the Board of Directors of the Pasadena YWCA.
